In the shallow area, bend your front knee until your shoulders are in the water and keep your other leg straight behind (to keep you balanced). Hold the dumbbells and open your arms to the side, parallel to the bottom of the pool.
Push one arm across your chest in a semi-circular motion until your arm is straight in front of your body then repeat the same move with your other arm. Always keep one arm in front.
Inhale as you push out. Exhale as you push in.
Feel your upper back muscles as you push out and your chest muscles as you push in.
