Strengthen your core and upper body muscles with this retro exercise. You may use pool noodle, aqua dumbbells, kick-board or any other resistance tool.
This exercise is performed differently than the original dance movement. To make the most out of it, keep good posture and keep your core engaged.
Stand in the shallow end with wide feet and lower your arms under the water. Hold the aqua dumbbells in front of you with your palms facing downward. Keep your back straight.
Move the aqua dumbbells around from left to right in circular motion, bending and extending your arms. Keep your back straight and still. Repeat on the other side, by pushing from right to left.
Breathing: Push around once as you inhale and once as you exhale.
This exercise targets your core and upper body muscles.
Note: Keep controlled movement and focus on using your core muscles.
