Starting Position:
In the shallow end, bend your front knee and put your shoulders in the water. Keep your other leg straight behind (to keep you balanced). Hold the dumbbells and spread your arms to the side, parallel to the bottom of the pool.
Action:
Push one arm across your chest in a semi-circular motion until your arm is straight in front of your body then repeat the same movement with your other arm. Move one arm at a time and always keep one arm in front.

Breathing:
Inhale as you push out. Exhale as you push in.

Targeted Muscles:
Feel your upper back muscles as you push out and your chest muscles as you push in.
