frequently asked questions

Question?

Answer!

Who Can Do Aqua Exercises?

Almost everyone can! Water provides not only a suitable resistance, but also a safe environment. Because our bodies lose most of their weight in the water, we don’t have to worry about our joints while we jump and kick in the pool
How often should I exercise in the pool to see results?

Minimum 4 days a week, provided that your exercise duration is not less than 45 min. Exercising 3 times a week will help you maintain your current fitness level. Less than that period is not promising any notable results.
Can I lose weight with aqua aerobics?

Yes you can but it's not as effective as dryland aerobics. Because gravity provides tougher resistance than water, dryland aerobics will help you lose weight much faster than water aerobics. But still, water aerobics is safer for the overweight and more attractive for people who don’t like to sweat.
Does Exercising in the Water Cover all my Fitness needs?
No!  Aqua fitness is a great way to shape up your body, improve your cardiovascular system, lose weight, strengthen your muscles and recover from joint or back injuries, but it does not mean you've done everything! Dryland exercises are very important as well. For example, to increase your mineral bone density, something you can't get in the water because it provides no pressure on your bones like gravity does. So always make sure to include some dryland exercises in your program.
