Because water creates the type of resistance which makes our movement more difficult, you need music with slower beat, something that goes with the speed movement in water. This also depends on the age groups in your class. Young people like modern music, while old people like classical music, and music from the 80's.
- Music Order
Aqua aerobics class, as any other workout, starts with warm up and ends with cool down and stretch. That is why you should include different types of music with different beats. During the warm up, the beat is not the same as during the main session or cool down. Make sure to put your music in the correct order that always ends with slow relaxing music for cooling down.
- Update your Music
People who attend your class regularly will eventually become bored listening to the same music over and over again. You need to add new music from time to time and make it more interesting.
