Pool Noodles have many uses in the water and especially for water exercises. Not only they can be used as resistance underwater, but they are also good for supporting our bodies in the deep-end while performing exercises. So even non-swimmers can benefit from deep water exercises by using pool noodles. In this post we will address the uses of pool noodle with examples of best noodle exercises from our library. 

Noodle Uses in Aqua Exercising 

1. Noodles can be used to support our bodies in the deep-end while performing exercises. For example, you can put the noodle under your arms and lay on your back to support your upper body while moving your legs. Or you can put the noodle between your legs to support your core while moving your legs and arms.

2. Noodle can be used for balance in the shallow-end. There are many exercises in the shallow end that require balance like squats, calf raises, stretching...etc. By holding the noodle with one or both hands it helps us balance ourselves while focusing on the exercise.

3. Noodle can be used to create resistance for your working muscles. And because noodle is a floater, the resistance can be created by moving the noodle underwater and not toward the surface. You can use the noodle to exercise almost all muscle groups.
