Standing Mountain Climber in the Pool

Introduction

 

Standing Mountain Climbers is a fantastic full body exercise that you can perform in shallow or deep water. This combined movement activates major upper and lower body muscles. The key to effective movement is to imagine climbing up while challenging yourself against water resistance.

Shallow Water Standing Mountain Climbers

 

Start by jogging with high knees and lift opposite arms as high as you can. Keep steady rhytm and breathe regularly throughout the movement. 

Deep Water Standing Mountain Climbers

 

While jogging with high knees, push your arms and legs down to propel youreself upward. Imagine climbing up and feel your body lift each time you kick your leg and push your arms.
