Aqua Dummbbells Front Cricles

28 September 2025

Introduction

If you want an exercise that will fire up your chest, shoulders and upper back, look no further than Aqua Dumbbell Front Cricles. You'll need aqua dumbbells and a floating belt to get started. Also a good warm up to prepare your muscles for this high intensity workout. Check out more details below

Demonstration of the aqua dumbbell front circles exercise in the pool. This water workout engages shoulders, chest, arms, and core muscles, providing low-impact resistance training with added buoyancy and joint protection.

How to Perform

Start by jogging on the spot in deep water while performing front circles with aqua dumbbells. Keep the circles within a comfrotable range of motion, and focus on generating enough force to feel your upper body fully engaged. Your legs will perform kicks to help you stay balanced and to prevent your arm movements from pushing you back.

Breathing

Inhale as your arms push out and exhale as they close.

Benefits:

Unlike other chest exercises in the pool, front circles are more effective because of the circular motion which combines arm opening and pressing (like two exercises in one). This circular motion is very intense that it will push you forward if you don't use your legs to try and stay put, which adds another layer of challenge. But front circles do not only improve your upper body strength, but also your posture, aerobic fitness and shoulder flexibility.

Variations:

1. Reverse the arm movement with a backward circle.

2. Perform one forward and one backward circle.

3. Alternate the arms, doing one circle at a time.

4. Do the reverse movement with your back against the wall so you won't have to kick to stay in place.

5. Stand in shallow water for even more stability.
